Pat Meidell

Pat is the President of American Retirement Planners. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and FINRA Registered Principal with LPL Financial.

Armed with 37 years of experience in finance and an extensive background in education and counseling, Pat is qualified as a financial advisor. Her varied experience has helped make her an astute listener, skilled at assessing the individual needs of her clients.

Pat received her BS from Idaho State University, a Masters Degree from the University of Arizona, and has done post-graduate work in counseling. She earned her first securities license in 1972 and has owned her own financial services business since 1982. Before becoming a financial advisor, Pat taught high school for 17 years. During that time she was nominated for California's Teacher of the Year. She also worked as a high school administrator for three years.

Pat believes strongly in giving back to the community and in mentoring others seeking a similar career path. Over the years Pat has volunteered for the following Boards and Professional Associations:

Pat was previously affiliated with the International Association for Financial Planning. She was appointed to the Board of Trustees and served on the investment committee for the National Endowment for Financial Education.

Pat is the mother of three, grandmother of nine. She is active in her church affiliation and has taught seminary and classes for young women.
